Evoking the bourbon sidecar cocktail, this imperial pale ale began its metamorphosis with some light kettle souring before adding orange zest at the end of the boil. To soften those edges, we aged it for five months in Heaven Hill bourbon casks. One last hit of orange and lemon zest causes your tongue to do a little dance, leaving your mind free to travel to the outer realm.
